St Joseph’s Blog ‘word-cloud’ from Wordle

I’ve been directed to a rather beautiful tool called ‘Wordle‘. According to the site:

Wordle is a toy for generating “word clouds” from text that you provide. The clouds give greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text.

The software all works online, and is very easy to use – you can also adjust the fonts, colours and layout to suit your own tastes. I used the tool to create a word-cloud for this blog, and here it is. Click on the image for a larger view.

I’m not sure it’s ‘art’, but I like it…

CPM Thame 10K 2008 Route

Thanks to the South of England Course Measurement website, there’s now a map of the Thame 10K route availble as a PDF.

In addition, for those of you who like these things, I’ve recreated this as a Google Map, with 1km place-markers. I should point out that the Google Map is constructed by me, and follows the same route, but won’t be as deadly accurate as the PDF version.  It is, however zoomable. My map is here.

Building Fund Committee: Terms of Reference

We’ve made some really good progress in the last term, structuring our work and planning our fund-raising activities. To help with the set-up of the group, we now have a Terms of Reference which clearly sets out our goals and remit. Thanks to Rob Harris and Michael Norris for drafting and refining the document.

Welcome

Welcome to the St Joseph’s Building Fund website.

News about our fund-raising activities will appear here over the coming weeks and months.
