Web2.0 fundraising ideas

Further to my general ideas about fundraising, here are a couple of posts about the use of Web2.0 applications that are also very useful.

First here’s a post called ‘It might take me more than ten minutes’, which has a list of  ”Ten Web2.0 Things You Can Do in Ten Minutes to Be A Better Nonprofit Professional”. I’m particularly intrigued by Animoto, and will be having a look at this over the weekend.

The other post is a slightly older one, but has a good overview of ‘Group fundraising’, using online applications. Again, a new one to me is Chipin, which is mainly US-focussed, but has a great model for online fundraising collections, and which can be integrated with your blog or social network.

PS. if you don’t know that this ‘web2.0′ stuff is, then here’s a useful primer.
